HR shared service network
For over five years now, PricewaterhouseCoopers Saratoga has been at the forefront of thought leadership in HR Shared Services through its peer-led HR Shared Services Network. We encourage objective measurement of the performance of the services delivered via the HRSS model through our HR Shared Services Index measurement tool. The network comprises representatives from up to 30 organisations at the leading edge of HR Shared Services development.
Who should join?
Our HRSS network is of value to organisations in the following situations:
- Under pressure to follow the current trend towards an HRSS operating model
- Seeking to reduce the cost of transactional service provision
- Looking to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Seeking to enhance the internal strategic position of HR
The member is generally the most senior person in the organisation with specific responsibility for HRSS, although we do have a number of VPs of HR as members. Members come from a cross section of industry sectors.
How does it work?
The way in which the network operates makes it distinctive from other workshops and seminars because the meeting agenda is driven by members, with each organisation suggesting particular areas of interest or challenge for each session.
PwC Saratoga both facilitates and organises the meetings. One day workshops are held three times a year, including an evening networking event and are hosted by members. We have a distinctive "open" format incorporating frank debate so as to do really get to grips with issues raised by members. Topics typically include the viability of HRSS, HR outsourcing, technology and process solutions.
